Technical Lead of Developer Technology

Arm is building the future of computing, together, for everyone. Our technology can be found wherever computing happens - from the tiniest sensor to smartphones, laptops, networking equipment, automotive, robotics to the largest server.

We are building a Developer Technology team to accelerate the adoption of new Arm technologies throughout our software ecosystem.

The team will work closely with external developers providing a bridge into our internal engineering team, and co-engineering with our ecosystem partners to deliver the best performance and experience on Arm hardware.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Developer Technology team and be accountable for their delivery and performance. Providing clear direction, support, and technical leadership.
• Study and develop ground-breaking techniques using Arm architecture features for key domains like machine learning and scientific maths.
• Perform analysis and optimizations on applications to ensure the best possible performance on current and next-generation Arm technologies.
• Work directly with application developers to help them best utilize our technology by understanding their problems and co-engineering solutions.
• Collaborate closely with our architecture, libraries, tools, and software teams to influence the requirements for our next-generation architectures, software platforms, frameworks, and tools.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Proven experience in a technical leadership position for application software with line management responsibility.
• Current experience in designing and developing end user software for Android or Linux e.g., database system or business mobile application.
• High proficiency or previous experience in a low-level programming language, optimization, and debugging skills, with a strong software engineering background.
• Highly competent and experienced at consulting with customers.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

• Domain experience in machine learning or scientific maths.
• Experience improving the performance of software applications.
• Sharing knowledge and engaging with the developer community e.g., blogs.

From: $283,305

To:      $383,295
