We need a Senior Platform Debug Engineer to work with the Arm Solution & Central Engineering partners and support the growing demand for Neoverse cores in the Cloud and Datacenter. You will be in an individual contributor role to engage and collaborate with internal and external partners to enable and support Arm Infrastructure hardware software ecosystem. ebug / triage engineer for a new quality initiative Understanding of GPU/System level HW and SW flow Provide leadership for driving to root cause issues / bugs Communicate / Document flows and methods of debug ability Key Qualifications: Minimum 10 yrs experience in System or SOC level debug and triage Proven ability to drive resolution of critical problems within a lab, Datacenter Relationship with external customers/partners and able to help resolve problems in their Data Center Relationship with external customers/partners on ability to work manufacturing issues/failures Relationship with external customers/partners on ability to define rqmts for manufacturing validation
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of GPC & AI server platform, SOC firmware, BIOS and BMC.
- Triage and debug System, SOC, Board, firmware/BIOS related issues on customer reference & production platform.
- Engage with customer partners to root cause & resolve customer platform issues.
- Engage and coordinate with Quality & Reliability team to support on manufacturing/RMA failure issues.
- Collaborate with post-silicon validation team to port and enable SDC (silent data corruption) tests on Diagnostic tool for customer reference platforms.
- Debug and resolve hardware & firmware issues during the SOC bring up phase.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in silicon debug and hardware testing tools and methodologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a post-silicon debug Engineer, Hardware Test Engineer, and/or similiar role.
- Experience with hardware testing methodologies and tools bring up and debugging.
- Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu and RTOS bring up and SoC platforms.
- Solid understanding of programming languages such as C, Python and Perl.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
“Nice To Have”:
- Knowledge of the Arm SystemReady certification program
- Experience with Arm system architecture specifications, such as the Base System Architecture (BSA), the Server Base System Architecture (SBSA), and the Server Base Manageability Requirements (SBMR)
- Experience with the install and debug of Linux and/or Windows operating systems for use in Cloud and Datacenter solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge of or experience with Cloud and Datacenter infrastructure and software solutions.

Salary Range:
