Job Overview:

We are seeking aSenior Manager, SoC Market Strategistto drive strategic decision-making for supplier allocation, sourcing strategies, and strategic negotiations. This role requires deep market analysis, competitive intelligence, and financial assessments of key suppliers. The ideal candidate will collaborate with procurement, engineering, and executive leadership to optimize supplier relationships, ensuring the company is positioned for long-term success in a dynamic semiconductor landscape.

Responsibilities:

Market Intelligence & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depthmarket researchon SoC trends, technology roadmaps, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyzesupplier financials, earnings reports, and analyst insightsto assess risks, opportunities, and shifts in the semiconductor supply chain.
  • Trackindustry consolidation, geopolitical factors, and macroeconomic trendsaffecting the SoC ecosystem.
  • Develop strategic reports and presentations to guide executive decision-making.

Supplier Strategy & Allocation

  • Advice onsupplier allocation strategiesbased on technology leadership and long-term viability.
  • Partner with procurement and engineering teams to assess suppliers’ ability to meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Establish and refinemulti-sourcing strategiesto ensure supply chain resilience.
  • Develop data-driven recommendations forsupplier diversificationto mitigate risks.
  • Find opportunities for strategic partnerships,capacity reservations, or joint technology developmentwith key suppliers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely withprocurement, finance, engineering, and corporate strategyteams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Present market insights and recommendations tosenior leadership and C-level executives.
  • Drive continuous improvement inmarket monitoring processesto proactively identify supply chain risks and opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree inBusiness, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field(MBA preferred).
  • 8+ yearsof experience insemiconductors, SoC supply chain, procurement strategy, or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding ofSoC market dynamics, semiconductor manufacturing, and supply chain dependencies.
  • Proven experience analyzingearnings reports, and market research reports.
  • Expertise insupplier negotiations, cost modeling, and risk management.
  • Ability to work in afast-paced, cross-functional environmentand influence executive decisions.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in aFabless semiconductor company, foundry, or Tier 1 supplier.
  • Knowledge ofgeopolitical environment, macroeconomic situations and global semiconductor trade policies.
  • Familiarity withmarket intelligence tools, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques.

Salary Range:

$175,440-$237,360 per year
