Senior Director, Talent Management

The Role:

As the Senior Director of Talent Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the global strategy for leadership, people development, talent and performance across Arm. This role is critical in shaping how we grow and retain talent—ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles, now and in the future. Your scope will span across all Arm globally, driving people capability to accelerate the business strategy. You will lead a team responsible for key talent practices including succession planning, leadership development, performance, and people development. This is an exciting opportunity to build and scale talent and development programs that are future-focused, inclusive, and deeply aligned with our strategy and culture.

You Will:

  • Set the strategic direction for leadership, skills development, talent and performance, ensuring alignment with Arm’s evolving business needs.
  • Drive innovation and transformation in our development infrastructure for our leaders, managers and technical talent, embedding tailored, forward-thinking practices that position Arm at the forefront of the industry.
  • Lead the design and execution of programs that elevate impact, strengthen Arm’s performance culture, and create measurable outcomes on business performance.
  • Lead on embedding Arm’s newly established Leadership Principles across the development landscape, incorporating into key processes such as performance management, talent management and development.
  • Be accountable for key initiatives that align to Arm’s DEI strategy and the elevation of high-potential talent into enterprise-critical roles.
  • Build and scale data-informed frameworks to assess leadership impact, succession readiness, and enterprise-wide talent performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, the wider People Team, and external partners to ensure leadership and talent strategies are future-ready and globally impactful.
  • You’ll manage a team of senior specialists and collaborate in engaging partnership environments, influencing across groups to deliver systemic impact at the enterprise level.

The Individual:

You are a strategic leader with proven strength in people development, executive leadership programs, and performance enhancement within the technology sector.

  • Have a consistent track record of delivery and accountability in leadership development, learning, and talent performance.
  • Excel in complex, ambiguous environments, bringing structure and innovative thinking to evolve Arm’s people strategies.
  • Use data and insights to advise decisions, balancing long-term vision with operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the technology sector, with insight into the leadership capabilities needed to scale innovation and adapt rapidly.

Salary Range:

$280,500-$379,500 per year
