Arm is looking to hire for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support multiple key infrastructure partners. The FAE is an integral part of the North American Arm Sales team. You will be part of an engaging team with opportunity to grow with the company. In this role, we are seeking someone who blends technical account leadership skills with cloud and datacenter experience to help our partners reach success.
As an FAE, we are responsible for understanding our partners' key design requirements, market segments, and competitive challenges. We work to uncover opportunities for Arm to influence designs and collaborate with our partners on the best technical solution. Arm FAEs work closely with account managers to provide world-class support to the Arm partnership. We contribute by providing technical support in pre-sales opportunities and being involved in post-sales support activities.
FAEs participate in defining new products and services to meet the needs of Arm customers and to maintain a high standard of technical knowledge about Arm, its products, services, and competitors. From processors, machine learning, graphics, system, and physical IP as well as software tools, FAEs learn how to present and demonstrate the value of Arm solutions.

Critical Success Factors
- Understand partner business and technical development plans.
- Foster strong personal relationships with key technical decision-makers at Partner accounts and a good understanding of commercial relationships.
- Proven understanding of Arm products, tools, and services.
- Development of positive relationships with assigned Partner managers, as well as Marketing, Engineering, and Applications Engineering teams.
Technical Skills
- BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in applications engineering, digital design, product management or software engineering role.
- Knowledge of application processors, SoC design, operating systems, systems software, HW/SW design process including tools, boards and/or systems IP.
- Strong understanding Cloud, HPC, and Enterprise workloads.
- Familiarity with Arm CPUs, graphics processors, software tools, or system IP desirable.
Commercial Skills
- Multifaceted, self-starting individual with the ability to excite and instill confidence in customers about Arm technology.
- Good presentation skills to clearly express technical concepts.
- Previous experience in a FAE, sales, or marketing role is desirable.
- Strive to grow Arm’s sales and win business.
- Positive, “can do” demeanor.
- Independent worker, self-motivated, diligent, and timely.
- Flexible, willing to adapt to changing responsibilities and assignments.

- Willing to travel domestically approximately 25% of time. Infrequent travel to the UK also required.

Salary Range:
$179,500-$242,800 per yearWe value people as individuals and our dedication is to reward people competitively and equitably for the work they do and the skills and experience they bring to Arm.
