Job Overview:

Working with the diverse team of architects in the Central Technology (CT) group, you will innovate Systems IP capabilities, performance and efficiency -- which are key to building excellent products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other CT System IP Architects to propose and evaluate candidate capabilities and improvements targeting the System IP roadmap
- Design experiments and analyses to answer architectural questions, and invent, develop, maintain, or drive the development of models, simulations, profilers, or other methods and tools to implement the analyses
- Collaborate with System IP execution teams to ensure smooth transition of innovations into System IP products
- Collaborate with Solution Architects as they evaluate the value proposition in trading-off various solution-level integration choices
Required Skills and Experience :
- Fundamental understanding of shared caching/memory systems, including associated coherency and transport within client systems
- Understanding of aspects impacting performance and power in such systems
- Proficiency in coding in Python or similar scripting language
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with excellent statistical and data presentation ability
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
· Experience in execution of IP blocks (micro-architecture or RTL), particularly memory systems, caches, network-on-chip, or DRAM controller
· Experience in performance modelling for any of CPU, GPU, display, camera, or AI engine
· Knowledge of Quality of Service techniques for multimedia systems
· Experience with the capturing and use of trace data
· Track-record of research and development results, gained in industry or academia
