Job Overview:

We're looking for a forward-thinking individual to drive improvements and efficiencies in the adoption of Atlassian tools across Arm. You will engage with teams across all business groups, finding opportunities to educate, support, promote consistency, embed new features & methodologies; ultimately enabling Arm's people to do great things! Arm operates a hybrid working environment. The successful candidate is required to spend 40% of their time at our Cambridge office.

Responsibilities:

  • Guiding people across Arm on how they can use Jira and Confluence to meet their team's requirements.
  • Developing solutions for and owning the delivery of improvement initiatives.
  • Owning process controls to protect the integrity and performance of our environments.
  • Guiding our support team on how to address complicated requests and taking decisions to facilitate the right outcomes.
  • Collaborating with Arm's IT department to monitor usage and performance; identifying actions to maintain effective services.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • An excellent communicator. You excel in establishing relationships, take pride in earning trust and building a reputation as a go-to person in the Atlassian space. You collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, breaking down barriers to ensure people, requirements and commitments are aligned.
  • Expertise. You will have a background in configuring and administering Jira and Confluence Data Center products. You can define and deliver work packages autonomously, applying project management & software development techniques, i.e. programming, business analysis, quality assurance and configuration management. Additionally you should be proficient in Java and / or Python.
  • Analytical. Proactively seek opportunities, involve teams, design solutions, document processes, gain sign-off and collaborate effectively through to completion, showing superb attention to detail.
  • Leadership. You are comfortable being the expert in the room and having others looking to you for technical direction and decisions.
  • Inquisitive. You welcome a challenge and question the status quo, striving to recommend and implement quality improvements.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Experience as a Linux Systems Administrator.
  • Experience working in large organisations with complex requirements.
  • Knowledge of 3rd party plugins including ScriptRunner, Structure, Draw.io, Advanced Roadmaps, Appfire Project Configurator and Confluence macros.
  • Atlassian certifications in Jira and Confluence Data Center.
