About the Role

As a leader in our SOX, Internal Audit & Risk team, you’ll play a critical role in leading, planning, delivering and reporting on our IT compliance across the business and ongoing work to ensure the organization can provide timely certification of compliance.

You will be delivering insightful, risk-based audits that go beyond compliance — influencing decisions, shaping controls, and unlocking strategic value. Our SOX and audit plan spans all of Arm’s operations, including cybersecurity, AI, advisory services, third-party risk — alongside traditional financial and compliance domains.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, manage, own and report on the IT SOX programme, including scoping, testing, remediation and reporting. 

  • Perform and deliver IT scoping at least annually, covering system, controls and key report Share your experience by coaching and mentoring junior team members.

  • Establish, plan, co-ordinate and deliver the independent testing of the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.

  • For control deficiencies, work collaboratively with the business to agree remediation required, appropriate timeframes for implementation and retesting.

  • Track and provide timely reporting on IT SOX assessment to senior stakeholders

  • Be responsible for review of IT control environment and the IT quarterly self-assessment.

  • Manage relationships with IT team and external auditors to ensure there is full collaboration and access to information.

  • Review third-party vendor attestation and audit reports and provide assessment to business leaders risk owners.

  • Working collegiately as part of the SOX team, supporting and delivering the overall team objectives.

  • Proactively engage with IT and the Business, to identify area where control enhancements, automation and/or documentation improvements are needed. 

  • Provide annual and ongoing IT compliance training to various stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience and proven understanding in delivering compliance in IT environment, with deep practical understanding of controls for applications such as SAP 4 Hana, Salesforce. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.

  • Experience in developing accurate reporting material for senior leadership teams and operational teams 

  • Strong interpersonal skills working closely with people at all levels of the organization and facilitate the implementation of corrective action.

  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. 

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience in audit technologies such as AI, data analytics tools or RPA.

  • Knowledge of auditing emerging risks and leading audit practices: e.g. cybersecurity, AI governance, ESG, or Agile project management.

  • Relevant qualifications: CIA, ACCA, ACA, CISA etc.
