Job Overview:

Are you an experienced accountant interested in joining the head office finance team of a globally recognised, NASDAQ-listed multinational company? If so, this is an excellent opportunity join our dynamic, fast-paced team.


As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be at the heart of our global reporting team, delivering timely, accurate financial data and working with our teams from across the globe.


We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail and accuracy with demonstrable experience in financial accounting and the application of emerging technologies


Responsibilities:

- Drive our efforts towards automation and innovation to support both business and personal growth
- Review and approve journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with organisational standards
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify, investigate, explain, and resolve variances against trend across our financial reports
- Review group-wide financial calculations including payroll accruals, lease accounting, and share-based compensation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for both external and internal audits, ensuring timely and efficient preparation and delivery of audit materials.
- Ensuring that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate, and resolve problems in systems, services, and processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Passionate about implementing new and existing technologies to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the financial close
- Proactively identify areas for potential improvement and collaborate with other teams to design and implement shared solutions
- Qualified accountant with proven experience
- Knowledge of either IFRS or US GAAP

'Nice to Have' Skills and Experience:

- Experience working in SAP S4 Hana
