Arm’s Productivity Engineering team is looking for an experienced, collaborative, and people-focused Senior Director of Flows and Methodologies. In this high-impact leadership role, you will guide a world-class team of front-end and back-end engineers to deliver tools, flows, and standards that support innovation and scale across Arm’s IP and SoC teams.

About the Team
The Hardware Enablement team is central to accelerating hardware development at Arm. We create and maintain automation tools, flows, and infrastructure for IP and SoC design, verification, and performance modelling. Our goal is to make designs more testable, scalable, and standards-compliant—enabling teams to deliver faster and with greater confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and improvement of scalable hardware design methodologies and automation environments.
- Define and implement flows and methodologies for RTL design, verification, performance modelling, physical implementation, and post-silicon validation.
- Partner with leading EDA vendors to explore and test new tools and technologies.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to understand evolving needs and deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.
- Coach and mentor engineers; help your team grow and succeed in both front-end and back-end domains.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure on-time, high-quality project enablements
- Champion quality, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing.
- Shape long-term strategies for tooling and hardware enablement aligned with Arm’s broader product vision.
Required Skills and Experience :
- An MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in SoC development, hardware design, or EDA tooling.
- A strong background in RTL development, logic synthesis, floor-planning, place & route, DfT, timing signoff, and chip integration.
- Hands-on experience with EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens.
- Deep understanding of performance modelling, power analysis, and scaling challenges at advanced nodes.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence technical direction across an organization.
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
