Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Corporate Reporting team in Cambridge! It is an incredible time to be at Arm, as the business continues to grow and evolve since becoming a US listed company.

As a reporting accountant role, we are seeking someone who will support Arm’s external financial reporting processes, with a focus on IFRS consolidated and UK GAAP external reporting. The role will work closely with various teams and contributors at Arm, both inside and outside Finance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and coordination of the Group's consolidated IFRS financial statements and annual report, as well as financial statements for other UK subsidiaries under UK GAAP.
  • Prepare full sections of these reports while maintaining reporting timetables, coordinating cross-functional inputs, supporting review cycles and preparing documentation through to signing.
  • Directly support our partnership with the Sustainability function on evolving global sustainability reporting requirements, focusing on financial connectivity and impact.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across multiple teams, both within Finance and cross-functionally. Demonstrate interpersonal skills to develop and maintain these relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes as we seek to improve quality and efficiency of financial reporting; including the use of AI and other finance automation processes.
  • Proactively help in evolving and developing Arm’s UK reporting control framework. Work with the team to deliver best in class, efficient and accurate financial reporting.
  • Potential to be involved in group IFRS reporting to Arm’s parent company, SoftBank, as well as developing an understanding of Arm’s public company reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Work effectively with Arm's external auditors.

Required Skills and Experience :

Applicants should be an ACA / ACCA fully qualified accountant (or similar) and have prior knowledge of IFRS and its application; candidates from relevant industry roles and/or from practice are invited to apply.

In addition, applicants should demonstrate:

A strong and demonstrable attention to detail.

The ability to balance contending asks and prioritise accordingly.

An ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, particularly during key project and reporting times.

“Nice To Have”:

Knowledge of, and interest toward, international statutory Sustainability reporting topics.

Knowledge of US GAAP and differences versus IFRS is of benefit.

Experience or knowledge of UK GAAP reporting, its regimes, and familiarity of Companies Act requirements.

In addition, Arm uses Workiva alongside S4-HANA (SAP) so prior experience of these tools is beneficial but not required.

In Return:

This is a key role in the Corporate Reporting function, and we would be thrilled for someone to join us! We are a team with plenty of room for learning, growth and progression and you will gain valuable commercial experience in a highly capable team, supporting Arm’s overall business goals.
