We are excited to announce that we have multiple UK vacancies for engineering project/program managers to fill several exciting roles withing the fast-paced and highly dynamic semiconductor industry!

This role

As an integral member of SE Engineering Operations, we will assign you to run projects relevant to your experience and technical background. Our product portfolio includes the following technical domains PCBs, FPGAs, SOCs, and RTL based Compute Subsystems.

Job Description

You will be the gate keeper of plans of record, schedules, budgets, resources, key dependencies, product releases, risks, and milestones.

Responsibilities

Program/Project Execution

  • Own Confluence page content, Program DRIs & Stakeholders, Communication / Collaboration methodology.
  • Build Plan of Records, process and supervise POR changes throughout the program for QMS reporting.
  • Establish and maintain development metrics for the assurance of program schedule compliance.
  • Communicate program status, issues, risk management and recommended mitigation plans to multi-functional core and executive teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Do you have the determination to lead engineering program reviews for the alignment between collaborators for the duration of the program?
  • Establish day-to-day program operational objectives, ensuring consistency with established processes, standards, and quality requirements
  • Optimize program efficiency and effectiveness by finding opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Champion a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and partnership.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science or Electrical preferred) with industrial experience in technology companies.
  • Proven experience in program management of sophisticated projects such as SOC, subsystem, or hardware product design from concept to production.
  • Strong problem solving, leadership, technical expertise, and analytical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of HW / SW program methodologies, SOC design principles, methodologies and tool flows.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships across teams with varied strengths.

“Nice To Have”

  • Good understanding of SOC design functions, power / performance use cases, system modelling, chip design & test, PPA trade-offs, foundry process technology, package design, post silicon bring up, product qualification, circuit board and FPGA development flows.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and automation.
  • Certified PMP or other professional qualification in Project and Program Management
