Job Overview:
The Software (CE-SW) group is responsible for developing and improving the software ecosystem around Arm's next generation of applications processors and IP. This means working with processors and other hardware technology not yet available to the public.
You will join a team of Software Engineers who share a passion for leaving their mark on the future of computing. You will be helping Arm maintain its leadership in the Client and Large Screen Compute market.

Responsibilities:
This role is to Techlead the Total Compute team which specializes in integrating, validating and prooving a complete Software Stack on the latest ARM Client Device IP. This includes Android bring up, EDK2 development, Linux Distros, firmware, and Linux device driver development. Day-to-day activities will include:
- Participating in the design and implementation of new features, integration and debugging of the Android architecture, the Linux kernel, Trusted Firmware, Secure OS and Bootloader software components.
- Developing, debugging and testing on different platforms including software models and FPGA systems.
- Conducting code reviews both for internal code and upstream.
- Influencing and building consensus among internal and upstream communities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent C/C++ skills; some assembly and Java skills are desirable.
- Familiarity with upstreaming and codeline maintenance and proficiency in developing and debugging Linux and firmware.
- Proficiency in System Architecture (pipelines, caches, MMUs, Interrupt Controllers, timers, PMU, AMU, running benchmark applications like Geekbench and Geekbench ML).
- Experience in both people management and technical management of teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and spoken English; capable of writing documentation and mentoring of junior engineers.
