Job Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Arm Operational Finance team as a Finance Business Partner on a fixed term contract basis.

You will be providing crucial FBP support to Workplace Leadership team.

Our mission is to improve financial strength and input for decision-making managers and leaders in our partnering business organisations!

Responsibilities:

  • You will build relationships and credibility with key collaborators, using your curiosity to understand the business whilst developing a strong understanding of the Workplace Business area.
  • Engaging budget holders to collect requests and build budget recommendations for review in Arm’s quarterly forecasting processes.
  • You will provide financial reporting support, including compiling month-end accruals, prepayments, variance analysis related to the workplace function to support the Arm monthly financial close.
  • Working closely with the FBP Analyst and Director of FBP, you will create monthly review meeting packs, ensuring full supporting material is prepared and distributed to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Workplace leadership to produce business cases for new projects and changes, understanding the P&L and CAPEX impacts.
  • As a team we are constantly looking at improving the quality and efficiency of financial control, reporting, forecast data management, forecast data collation and entry into our finance planning system.
  • Maintain records of open positions and leavers, supporting internal customers and updating the financial plan at each quarterly forecast cycle.
  • You are upbeat and agile when required to get into the detail and work with data to produce analysis.
  • You display a dedicated approach to your work, and you are proud to be detailed, methodical and organised in your nature.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Either, holding CIMA or ACCA
  • Experience in a related finance role
  • Experience in communicating Finance topics to various levels in an organisation
  • You will have strong Excel and data-management skills, and are confident working with large volumes of data and sophisticated models

'Nice to Have' Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with SAP (S4Hana)/Fusion/Adaptive Insights
  • Previous experience working with Workplace management teams on property projects.
