Edge AI Experience Kit Lead

Job Overview:

Are you passionate about getting the latest software and hardware into the hands of AI and ML developers? Do you want to help drive the transition of AI from the data center to Edge and IoT devices? We're looking for a someone to help define and build the experience kits that ship with our next generation of AI devices for use by IoT and Embedded developers. You'll work as part of a broad team to help take next-generation AI technology out of the lab and into the hands of real developers!

Arm has revolutionised multiple industries and is now defining the future of AI on edge computing. The IoT Line of Business is rapidly moving inference from being a cloud centric compute, to a distributed local computing experience with all the benefits of reduced latency, privacy and cost this change will deliver.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive delivery of the software development kits for Arm's next generation of Edge AI devices, including the software components, toolchains and documentation
• Work with external customers and partners to understand what they need to be successful
• Work with our software engineering teams to build and deliver our experience kits
• Engage with lead partners to help ensure they can successfully unlock the full potential of Edge AI
• Engage with Ecosystem vendors to deliver system and application-level components
• Contribute as part of a broader product team, defining the software, tools and ecosystem for a new class of Edge AI devices

Required Skills and Experience :

• Experience delivering SDKs or platform software which is used by software engineering teams
• Strong ML/AI skills and an understanding of the needs of developers working with AI at the Edge
• Experience working in the IoT or Embedded space
• Solid development skills low-level programming languages like C, C++ or Rust
• A curious mind and an interest in continuous learning

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

• Strong written communication skills
• A background in a delivering a Linux software distribution or in platform software development
• Experience with long-term support of commercial products
• An understanding of the latest trends in AI/ML research and development
• Good familiarity in one of the popular ML frameworks such as PyTorch/ExecuTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, ONNX PaddlePaddle
• A history of developer engagement or participation in an active open-source development community
• Experience of Product Owner roles, or a desire to growing into more commercial and product focused roles
