Job Overview:

Arm is building the next generation of AI platforms for developers to build Cloud to Car and Cloud to Edge solutions in the Automotive and Industrial market segments. Companies across these industries are increasingly switching to compute technology from Arm because of our energy-efficient foundations and pervasive footprint. You will be responsible for discovering, understanding and addressing key developers' specific needs for accelerating the adoption of Arm technologies in these segments. To be successful you will need to coordinate across diverse internal and external organizations to define, implement and evangelise solutions that address these needs. The aim is for developers have a better streamlined experience when working with Arm technology than with any other compute technology ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Find and connect with representative groups of Automotive and Industrial developers, who are already using Arm or other compute technology and represent their needs.
  • Create a clear framing and business justification for the most important problems that should be addressed to transform the development experience.
  • Define, document and agree the vision of developer experience and the strategy which will include shaping the roadmap for the solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Create compelling value propositions that appeal to developer needs. Create collateral, marketing briefs and represent Arm at industry events.
  • Work across Arm, our partnership and wider developer communities to nurture collaboration, build trust, encourage and empower active engagement.
  • Step forward and bring your ideas. Be prepared to embrace ideas from others. Be ready and quickly adapt to changing dynamics and feedback
  • International travel approximately 1-2 times every few months to meet partners

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven technical experience creating software technology.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject such as computer science.
  • Outstanding communications skills, and ability to communicate and coordinate appropriately with a diverse set of audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly collaborative, inspires and motivates individuals in disparate groups to align around shared goals and strategic priorities.
  • Comfortable in proactively tackling ambiguity and leading others through a changing landscape with shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in encouraging a culture of innovation, learning and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

  • Automotive and/or high-end Industrial background or demonstrable knowledge. Specific SOAFEE and/or ROS an advantage.
  • Background in cultivating developer communities and a track record in finding and connecting with individual developers.
  • Experience working across multiple organizations and engineering functions to develop and deploy technology.
  • Strategic leadership skills and highly organized.
  • Proven track record to lead across boundaries, and without organizational authority.
