Job Overview:
We build software solutions to enable future Arm silicon products by adapting and integrating multiple open-source and internal components. To enable fast-paced progress, we operate in a tight release cycle built on a sophisticated CI/CD framework. We are looking for an experienced release manager to own the release automation process, supported by a small team of test engineers, working together with the development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver SW releases on schedule with defined scope and quality. Transition to continuous delivery.
- Ensure reliable operation of the CI/CD pipelines and improve their efficiency.
- Contribute to the test strategy and coordinate its execution.
- Drive the development of test frameworks and automation tools.
- Provide technical leadership to the QA and testing team.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Experience with test and release automation, continuous integration and delivery.
- Detailed understanding of cloud-based CI/CD implementations, preferably GitLab CI.
- Confident with python and shell scripting, able to read C.
- Practical understanding of test methodology and implementation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to mentor junior colleagues.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Specific experience with Yocto, embedded Linux and firmware.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- People management is optional in this role.
