Job Overview:
As a Release Manager, you will join a team helping to deliver high-quality software for Arm’s latest silicon platforms. Working closely with engineering and validation teams, you will drive the planning, coordination, validation, and release of complete software stacks, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and maintainability.
The Software System Solutions group develops and supports end-to-end software solutions for Arm-based platforms, enabling successful deployment across a wide range of markets and software ecosystems. This is an opportunity to contribute to software that powers the next generation of Arm technology.
Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Manage the end-to-end software release process, including branch management, software version control, release note documentation, and clear communication with internal and external collaborators.
- Drive release automation by enhancing CI/CD pipelines, defect logging and tracking for releases.
- Line manage a distributed team of test engineers.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Proven leadership and line management experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash.
- Experience managing and executing SW releases to meet scope, schedule and quality targets.
- Ability to automate the release process with CI/CD tools, ideally GitLab CI.
- Experience using Linux, including basic system administration and networking.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Experience working with software build systems for embedded platforms, such as Yocto and CMake.
- Familiarity with Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
- Awareness of software supply chain compliance (software component analysis, open-source licenses, SBOMs).
