Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Centre of Excellence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be leading designing, developing, and maintaining cost-effective AI systems and applications. This role involves collaborating with multi-functional teams to implement AI solutions that meet business requirements and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI-enabled systems.
  • Understand requirements and identify possible AI applications to solve problems.
  • Collaborate with data owners to design and implement optimal architectures for AI models.
  • Recommend machine learning and AI techniques to define and build solutions.
  • Perform testing and debugging of AI applications.
  • Supervise and adjust AI systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Stay updated with the latest research in AI and implement new techniques as appropriate.
  • Document AI development and consumption processes and maintain records for future reference.
  • Communicate sophisticated AI concepts to non-technical collaborators.
  • Maintain knowledge of ethical, legal, and societal implications surrounding AI.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Experience in developing AI strategies and roadmaps.
  • Knowledge of key AI LLM technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or LLaMA.
  • Familiarity with AI on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Exposure to AI in core enterprise IT platforms such as Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP etc.
  • An understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience in deploying, operationalizing, and maintaining scalable AI/ML solutions in production.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :

  • Experience in software development, with an emphasis on AI and machine learning.
  • Experience in MLOps, including model experimentation, deployment, and monitoring, with a focus on efficiency.
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Knowledge of data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
