Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, improving, and resolving issues with SAP Fiori solutions. You will implement technical projects and maintain live services in a cross-disciplinary and geographically spread team.
Expected to have deep technical expertise in SAP Fiori, ensuring that solutions are performant and fit-for-purpose.
A strong IT background with a consistent track record in complex SAP Fiori software projects. Hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with at least 6 years of overall experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation of which a minimum of 3 years is working with SAP Fiori. A successful history of performing as the SAP technical specialist in large-scale IT projects from inception to completion is critical. Ability to work autonomously, with a dedication to staying abreast of the latest industry developments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP Fiori.
- Modernise and/or improve SAP Fiori solutions through continuous improvement.
- Ensure sustained service performance levels for including responding to and resolving incidents.
Required Skills and Experience:
- SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development, including understanding of Fiori design principles, UI5 framework, and development tools.
- Developing custom Fiori apps and extending standard Fiori apps.
- JavaScript frameworks and libraries, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with Fiori Elements and Smart Controls for rapid development of standard application patterns.
- Skills in configuring and customising the SAP Fiori Launchpad, including tile creation, group and catalogue management, and role-based access control.
- Understanding of security aspects for Fiori applications, including authentication, authorisation, and secure communication.
- Connecting Fiori applications to backend SAP systems.
- Building and consuming OData services for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Understanding of SAP HANA, especially Core Data Services (CDS) views, for efficient data modelling and retrieval in Fiori applications.
- Developing solutions in a DevOps environment, Release and deployment management, and Incident Resolution to restore normal services whilst adhering to Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Confluence / JIRA as both a user and a creator.
- Handling of the lifecycle of problems. Documentation and knowledge documentation.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP CPI or other relevant SAP certifications.
- SAP ABAP development skills and / or knowledge of ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)!
- SAP HANA and CDS Views development skills!
