Job Overview

We are looking for an early-career Technical Program Coordinator / Junior Technical Program Manager to support IP Governance and engineering project setup activities.

Working with experienced program managers, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners, this individual will help coordinate project setup activities, maintain project information, track actions and requirements, and support established governance and compliance processes.

This is an opportunity to develop experience in technical program management while gaining exposure to engineering development workflows, project infrastructure, IP governance, compliance, and cross-functional operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering project startup activities by collecting and maintaining required project information.
  • Assist with documenting participating parties, project requirements, and the BOM (bill of material) of the design database.
  • Coordinate project setup actions with engineering, IT, and other stakeholders using established processes and checklists.
  • Track actions, milestones, dependencies, and outstanding requirements and follow up with responsible teams.
  • Maintain accurate project records, documentation, trackers, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Support collaboration between engineering, program management, IT, trade compliance, legal, procurement, HR, and other teams as required.
  • Assist with project scope changes by documenting updated requirements and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Follow established IP governance, export compliance, and project setup procedures and escalate questions or potential risks to senior team members.
  • Support data collection and reporting for project performance and operational metrics.
  • Assist with process improvement and automation activities for recurring tracking, reporting, and administrative tasks.
  • Document processes and lessons learned to help improve consistency and efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Typically 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, program management, engineering operations, IT, or a related technical environment; relevant internship or equivalent experience may also be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, or a related discipline.
  • Interest in technical program management and engineering development environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to track multiple activities, follow established processes, and communicate issues or dependencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Basic data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, or similar automation/reporting tools is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SOC/ASIC engineering, IP management, compliance, or engineering infrastructure is beneficial but not required.
  • Willingness and ability to learn technical workflows, governance requirements, and cross-functional business processes.
