Job Overview:
You will serve as a critical individual contributor, using your deep technical expertise to create solutions that support Arm IT’s vision of delivering outstanding digital experiences.
Develop, optimise, and solve issues with Mulesoft systems. Day-to-day responsibilities will include completing projects as a driven individual contributor of a geographically diverse team and providing solutions to elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of Mulesoft solutions. Collaborate with other teams to ensure technical alignment with business goals, adhering to Arm standards and contributing to the continuous improvement of Mulesoft integrations. This role is critical in maintaining the technical health of Arm’s IT estate, requiring a sharp eye for detail, a passion for technology, and a commitment to excellence.
There is a requirement for on-call.
Responsibilities:
Play a lead role in the end-to-end development and maintenance of a critical technical process imperative to ARM's business. You are expected to have technical expertise in Mulesoft technologies and core responsibilities not limited to the following:
- Technically craft and develop robust APIs in line with business requirements.
- Improve live services through continuous improvement.
- Ensure sustained service performance levels for Mulesoft APIs and products including responding to and resolving incidents.
Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for this role in Arm IT will possess a strong IT background with a consistent track record in sophisticated software projects. You will hold at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with at least 8 years of overall experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation of which a minimum of 3 years is working with Mulesoft. A demonstrable record as a Senior Integration Developer in large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, is needed. Continuous upskilling staying abreast of the latest industry developments is encouraged. Superb interpersonal skills to optimally collaborate with globally distributed teams, partners and across the organisation, ensuring technical solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with business needs is expected.
Mulesoft Expertise:
- Proficiency in Mule ESB and Anypoint Studio with a deep understanding of API-led connectivity and CloudHub's Anypoint Platform.
- Experience with CloudHub! with a solid understanding of DataWeave! language.
- Familiarity with connectors, scopes, flows, and error handling.
- Understanding of API security standards and protocols with knowledge of API modelling languages like RAML.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP ERP, Salesforce.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and architectures and ETL processes.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools in a DevOps environment while adhering to Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and documenting on Confluence/JIRA.
"Nice To have" Certifications:
- MuleSoft Certified Developer and/or MuleSoft Certified Architect.
- Other relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect
