In Arm's Solutions Engineering group, our primary focus extends beyond advanced System-on-Chip (SoC) development. As Physical Design (PNR) Engineers, we play a critical role in shaping the future landscape of chip implementation methodologies. Our expertise lies in optimizing physical designs through advanced placement and routing techniques, ensuring optimal power efficiency, enhanced performance, and improved area utilization. We actively refine PNR methodologies, influence Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, and build comprehensive knowledge bases essential for custom SoC and CPU designs. Collaborating closely across Arm's organizational divisions, we drive innovative and robust physical implementation strategies, delivering exceptional value to Arm and our partners.
Responsibilities:
Looking for an Engineer who has 8 -12 yrs Experience in Back-end (physical design) specially hands-on experience in PDN (Power Distribution Network) , IR-drop (Reh-hawk sign-off) and RDL/bump planning. Engineer should be having hands-on on the above-mentioned topic in recent times and expected to be working on the same for some significant time in his carrier especially on the latest deisgns either in server, compute or mobile SOC's
Required Skills and Experience :
Engineer should be having hand-on experience on handling PNR tools like Innovus , Fusion compiler and Sign-off tools like Red-Hawk and Calibre .
Engineer should be well versed with scripting languages like tcl , perl and Pythin (optional)
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
It is added advantage if Engineer has good knowledge in PNR and STA .
In Return:
Engineer will be part of a team owning synth to GDS closure of a critical subsystem in high-end compute SOC ,
Engineer would be Planning of PG grid , IR drop assessment/closure , bump-planning and RDL closure for this susb-system .
