Job Overview:
Lead a team to design, develop, implement, and maintain SAP Finance solutions. Drive strategic roadmap and operational performance. Balance technical proficiency, team leadership, and SAP Finance product knowledge.
Strong SAP Finance technical knowledge and team leadership experience. Hold a B.Tech in computer science, engineering, or related field, with a total experience of 10 years in SAP FICO with at least 5 years of functional leadership, building, recruiting, training, and mentoring high-performing teams.
Robust DevOps project management and delivery skills, with a history of delivering complex software projects.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and run the global SAP Finance functional competency team resources, coordinate and mentor to drive solution excellence.
- Drive business engagement and ensure requirements are validated, clear, understood and fully documented to ensure operational and audit compliance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a SAP Finance & Procurement role, in a Fiori based landscape possessing strong configuration and testing skills in SAP FICO.
- Understanding of the business and the SAP product set to effectively analyse the current state and how changes may need to be made to implement an optimised SAP solution.
- Demonstrated track record of thought leadership in FICO processes.
- Strong analytic skills, technical knowledge and the ability to write at a publication quality level in order to coSavemmunicate findings and recommendations to senior colleagues.
Validated high levels of proficiency in the design, configuration and testing in the areas of:
- SAP FI modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
- SAP CO modules such as Cost Element Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Activity-Based Costing, Product Cost Controlling, and Profitability Analysis.
- SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) functionalities, including revenue recognition, contract management, and revenue reporting.
- SAP Group Reporting (GR) functionalities, including but not limited to group accounting and consolidation.
- Proficiency in delivering via DevOps (CI/CD), Waterfall and Agile practices and frameworks such as PRINCE2, Scrum or Kanban, including highly accurate estimation of development tasks.
- Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and the ability to implement processes that ensure the SAP team's outputs meet the Arm standards.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Reading and debug knowledge of ABAP.
- Any relevant SAP technical certifications, such as SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP FICO!
- Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS 15) and American standards (ASC 606) for revenue recognition, and how they are implemented in SAP RAR!
- Experience of working in a SoX governed environment
- Extensive knowledge of procurement processes and standard practices in SAP Ariba, including Ariba Network, Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement, and Supplier Risk and Performance Management.
