Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, improving, and resolving issues with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) solutions. Implement technical projects and maintain live services across diverse and geographically distributed team.
With a deep technical expertise in SAP CPI and integration in a SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori first based landscape, ensuring that systems are performant and fit-for-purpose.
Strong IT background with a consistent track record in complex SAP CPI software projects and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a global organization of which a minimum of 3 years is working with SAP CPI.
A successful history of performing as the SAP technical specialist in large-scale IT projects from inception to completion is needed. There is also a requirement for on-call on rota basis.
Responsibilities:
- Modernizing and/or optimizing SAP CPI integration flows through continuous improvement.
- Ensuring sustained service performance levels for SAP CPI including responding to and resolving incidents.
Required Skills and Experience:
- SAP CPI capabilities and wider middleware concepts, including their architecture, components, and functionalities and how they apply in context to SAP CPI.
- Designing, building, monitoring, error handling, and issue resolution in integration flows (iFlows).
- Developing integration scenarios using various adapters (SOAP, OData, SFTP, IDoc, Mail, ProcessDirect, OpenConnector, HTTP, etc.) and understanding of different message formats (XML, JSON, EDI, etc.).
- Worked on OAuth authentications and encryptions/decryptions.
- SAP CPI Web UI for building and configuring integration processes.
- Scripting for data transformations, message mapping, XSLT mapping and complicated integration logic, plus Groovy and Java scripting for custom logic implementation within SAP CPI.
- API-based integration and experience with SAP API Management for building, managing, and securing APIs, plus all security protocols and standards (OAuth, SSL, SAML, etc.) relevant to integration scenarios.
- Data mapping and transformation techniques, including understanding of various mapping tools available.
- Integrating SAP systems (like S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.) with various non-SAP systems using SAP CPI.
- Understanding of cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise connectivity.
- Hands on experience on all CPI Pallet functionalities
- Developing solutions whilst adhering to Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC), in a DevOps environment, plus responsible for all related documentation and knowledge creation articles!
- Resolving Incidents to restore normal services.
