Job Overview:

Based in our Bengaluru office on a 16x5 shift pattern with on call on a rota basis.

Focused initially on specialist end user support and resolution of issues with SAP CPI evolving, as part of a dev ops structure, to support, develop and maintaining service.

With at least a B.Tech or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3 years of overall experience in a similar role within a global organisation of which a minimum of 1 year is working with SAP CPI.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Providing L2 and L3 support for SAP CPI.
  • Requirements, test and implement SAP CPI features focusing on minor changes and enhancements
  • Collaborating with technical teams you will be part of all phases of support, software configuration, development, and implementation lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical expertise in SAP CPI and integration, and an understanding on how SAP systems integrate with other technologies as well as business processes.
  • Track record of operational support, Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management aligned with ITIL.
  • Building and supporting integration flows (iFlows).
  • Understanding of different message formats (XML, JSON, EDI, etc.).
  • SAP CPI Web UI for building and configuring integration processes.
  • Scripting for data transformations, message mapping, and complicated integration logic, plus Groovy and Java scripting for custom logic implementation within SAP CPI.
  • API-based integration and experience with SAP API Management for monitoring, managing, and securing APIs.
  • Data mapping and transformation techniques, including understanding of various mapping tools available.
  • Experience on supporting integration of SAP systems (like S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.) with various non-SAP systems using SAP CPI.
  • Understanding of cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise connectivity.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (Azure DevOps / Git / GitFlow, Jenkins, Selenium, JMeter / Blaze Meter)

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP CPI or other relevant SAP certifications
  • Security protocols and standards (OAuth, SSL, SAML, etc.) relevant to integration scenarios!
  • Monitoring of integration flows, error handling, and issue resolution in SAP CPI.
  • Analysing and optimising integration flows for better performance and efficiency.
  • Experienced with development practices such as Waterfall, Agile
  • Experienced working in a global, diverse and multicultural environment.
