Job Description:
Fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join as a Project Manager in ARM’s Solutions Engineering Group and drive Physical IP development.
As Project Manager, you will serve as a focal point in the development of our portfolio of products by driving and overseeing activities that deliver advanced physical IP solutions for implementation of complex SoC designs to achieve best in class PPA. Your work will be to support engineering teams in development of IP such as: Standard Cell's, Embedded Memory Instances, Mixed Signal and Interface IP’s optimized mainly for leading node technologies. These designs will be used in Solutions Engineering products servicing the infrastructure, client, automotive, and IoT market segments.
Responsibilities:
Project Management of Physical IP development (Mandatory). Work in partnership with Engineering Tech Leads to drive and lead project teams to achieve successful on time delivery of quality IP solutions.
Accountable for project execution in a consistent fashion following defined processes and workflows. Be point of contact on all matters related to the project or program.
Define and Maintain project plans and schedule. Communicate on project status, analyse issues & risks, recommended mitigation plans to management and other key partners.
Manage resolution of the change requests (resource, scope, features, quality, design efficiency). Drive alignment across teams for project success.
Drive and Handle different projects in parallel.
Required Skills and Experience :
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred)!
Some experience of working on semiconductor IP development projects with understanding of Memory elements and Logic. 10+ years’ overall experience preferably in semiconductor industry.
Relevant project management experience or in engineering roles with strong project management components.
Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to articulate vision and influence decision making and outcomes across different teams and collaborators!
Ability to operate independently, handle changing priorities, and achieve targets. Work with engineering team members outside of direct authority to achieve desired outcome.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
Understanding of IP development flows and methodologies.
Awareness of SoC design and industry trends and challenges
Knowledge of project management tools like Jira & MS Project.
