Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Principal Engineer of Software and Systems Quality Assurance to grow and lead a team working on product grade Software QA. As a leader, you will ensure implementation, delivery and maintenance of the entire Software QA lifecycle, from Development support to qualification, verification, certification, support and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in Quality Assurance process for MS Windows SoCs, leadership skills and the ability to implement corporate strategy in a fast paced, groundbreaking technology environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build, lead and mentor a high performing Quality Engineering team, ensuring high quality products, and embedding a culture of continuous innovation and accountability.
- Define the software verification and validation strategy.
- Define consistent tools and processes to deliver on the strategy.
- Deliver tested software releases to production-ready quality standards.
- Design a Quality Assurance system that will support the delivery of production-ready software releases.
- Promote, educate and help drive a culture of high quality across the engineering team.
- Drive a tight collaboration culture across Development, Quality Assurance, and Integration teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Prior Quality Assurance experience on product SoCs.
- Track record of leading Quality Assurance teams.
- Track record of steering the test strategy in an organization spanning a wide geography.
- Experience in development and use of software test frameworks and automation tools.
- Experience in development and maintenance of CI/CD systems and software/systems verification automation.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Quality Assurance process of Windows based SoCs and corresponding certification processes.
- Basic understanding of ARM architecture and it's ecosystem.
- Experience in dealing with customers and supporting internal business teams.
