Job Overview:

As Network Services Manager, you will lead and encourage a team of highly skilled engineers to drive the daily operational network services and develop these at pace alongside growing engineering requirements. In this leadership role, you will demonstrate your expertise in network services such as HAProxy, DHCP, DNS, NTP and IPAM across the on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure. Additionally, your knowledge of automation techniques and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) will ensure the development of an efficient, scalable and secure solution for Arm.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has strong leadership skills, and has a consistent track record of leading a team under pressure while maintaining a proactive, can-do approach to developing technically sophisticated requirements. You can demonstrate ownership of complex deliverables to a focused timeline without slippage while motivating and empowering your team to succeed!

Responsibilities:

  • Actively leading, mentoring, and managing a skilled engineering team across various technical domains.
  • Collaborate with partners across IT, infrastructure, and operations teams to identify improvements, lead technical initiatives, and support network services that focus on the end-user experience.
  • Maintain focus and ownership with a positive approach to technical deliverables across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible for ensuring proactive monitoring of all services and developing automation to streamline operation effectiveness.
  • Accountable for managing and reporting appropriate KPIs for network services globally.
  • Encourage innovation and experimentation to improve capabilities and keep the team at the forefront of technology.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A highly motivated, self-driven and trustworthy leader with excellent interpersonal skills and an inclusive approach.
  • The ideal candidate should be capable of demonstrating 5 years of experience managing a highly technical team.
  • An excellent understanding of internal/external DNS solutions across a highly resilient hybrid multi-cloud environment with a core Microsoft service.
  • A good understanding of managing load-balancing solutions coupled with IPAM and DHCP.
  • Excellent experience leading a broad spectrum of network services in a conscientious, customer-focused environment.
  • Expertise in hybrid environments, with the ability to develop, manage, and automate on-premise infrastructure alongside cloud services.
  • The candidate should be experienced in ITIL best practices and ideally have exposure to the Agile framework.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in services across a software-defined network architecture.
  • Experience in Cisco ISE and Cisco Secure Network Analytics would be advantageous.
