Are you excited by the prospect of building and leadingthe engineering organization responsible for validating and delivering some of the industry’s most complex compute systems?
We are looking for an Engineering Director in the infrastructure solutions software team in our CE-SW group who will shape how our future infrastructure platforms are validated, from pre-silicon development through silicon bring-up and deployment. You will lead all aspects of an engineering group of 50+ professionals working remotely across the intersection of silicon, firmware, and system software.

Responsibilities:
You will:
- Own and drive the validation and quality strategy for our Infrastructure System Solutions, providing technical direction across SoC, firmware and end-to-end system validation, from pre-silicon development to production readiness.
- Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed Software Engineering organization, driving scalable automation, CI, quality metrics and engineering practices while developing strong engineering leadership at all levels.
- Partner with senior leaders across hardware, software, architecture and product teams to align validation with product goals, manage quality risks and influence key engineering and release decisions.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Extensive experience delivering complex system software and leading large, globally distributed engineering organizations through managers and technical leaders.
- Strong technical background in System-on-Chip (SoC), firmware, platform software and system-level validation across pre-silicon and silicon environments.
- Deep expertise in validation strategy, test automation, continuous integration, regression and release readiness for complex systems.
- Excellent technical judgement, leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior collaborators and drive decisions across engineering organizations.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge of server-class SoCs, including RAS, power management, PCI Express (PCIe), Compute Express Link (CXL), memory and virtualization.
- Familiarity with the Linux kernel, Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A), UEFI EDK II, OpenBMC or Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM).
- Experience scaling automated system validation, hardware test environments, server farms or continuous integration infrastructure.
