Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer who is proficient in hybrid cloud infrastructure automation and services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background deploying and managing cloud infrastructure and automations for services including but not limited to Kubernetes, DNS, networking, monitoring and observability, and other integrations. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of handling infrastructure deployments and ensuring operational excellence in a multi-cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration of cloud native workload using Terraform, Python, Ansible, bash/shell scripting.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, etc. for seamless code integration and deployment.
- Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalable and reliable distributed systems.
- Manage (DNS (internal/external) configurations/integrations and cloud networking to ensure robust connectivity and security.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability frameworks to track system performance and health.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to support and improve cloud-based applications and services.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in Hashicorp Terraform and Vault for infrastructure automation and secret management and integration with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE, or AKS).
- Proficiency in GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in extending applications functionality using REST API (integrations with external systems or scripting interactions)
- Experience in automating application configuration and deployment using Python, bash/shell, and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience in provisioning and managing Linux operating systems using configuration managements tools such as Foreman, Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, virtualization, Kubernetes, DNS, and cloud networking principles.
- Experience working in or with Cloud DevOps or SRE teams supporting large scale distributed environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- DevOps and specialist certifications in AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes are highly valued.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments and supporting multi-cloud environments.
- Experience in deploying and managing private cloud (OpenStack) infrastructures.
Salary Range:
