Job Overview:

As Principal System Quality Lead within the Silicon Quality Group at ARM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our ARM design in data centers throughout the customer EVT, DVT and PVT stages. You will plan and execute system level quality assessments of our ARM design in a data center environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish clear reliability goals, develop comprehensive plans, and secure the necessary SW/HW resources for effective execution.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include rigorous testing, data analysis, and risk assessment to track system reliability metrics such as MTBF/FIT, proactively identify and address unwanted behavior, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain optimal reliability. The goal will be to pre-fetch possible issues that may be seen in customer data centers.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Analyze SW/HW server co-designs early in development to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring system reliability from the outset.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish clear data center reliability goals (MTBF/FIT), develop comprehensive plans, and secure necessary SW/HW resources.
  • Design stress plan to evaluate functional stability and silent data corruption (SDC) of ARM design in a data center environment.
  • Drive the execution of stress plans, including rigorous testing, data analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Track system reliability metrics, proactively identify and address unwanted behavior, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain optimal performance and reliability.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential risks in SW/HW co-designs.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and risk assessment techniques.
  • Knowledge of reliability testing methods and metrics (MTBF/FIT).
  • Ability to conduct thorough failure analysis and identify root causes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with EVT, DVT and PVT phases of system design.

Salary Range:

$221,127-$299,172 per year
