Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Director of Software Engineering to lead our Windows Platforms Landing team in Taipei. As a leader, you will build and drive a team that ensures best in class Microsoft Windows ecosystem performance and efficiency on ARM based SoCs. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in Microsoft Windows OS, strong leadership skills, and the ability to execute on a product oriented strategy in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a result oriented engineering organisation that supports key customers to develop differentiated solutions.
- Establish and foster strong technical relationships with key stakeholders within Arm and Customer organisations.
- Support customers to deliver market leading products based on ARM solutions.
- Provide first line of support to customers on the field
Required Skills and Experience :
- Demonstrated experience leading software application engineering teams!
- Deep understanding of the Microsoft Windows operating system, APIs, development frameworks, and associated toolchains.
- Experience in device driver development, (DirectX, DirectML and other peripherals) including WHQL Certification
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and business sense
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Experience of the wider AI ecosystem, Microsoft’s and others
- Familiarity with ARM architecture and software ecosystems
- Hands on System-on-Chip development and support experience
