Join the Strategy & Ecosystems group as a Project Manager, where you will lead the delivery of sophisticated software and engineering projects that help software developers on Arm succeed.

This is a great opportunity to collaborate with business, product and technical teams across Arm. You will provide leadership in planning and execution, bring teams together to solve delivery challenges, and help build the transparency and coordination needed to deliver optimally.

To be considered for this role, you will have a strong track record in software or engineering project delivery. Excellent interpersonal skills are important, as is confident leadership and a willingness to work with teams to tackle problems and drive projects through to success.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, tracking, monitoring and reporting.
  • Work with teams to build realistic plans and maintain clear visibility of delivery progress and confidence.
  • Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, issues and change through to conclusion.
  • Bring teams and collaborators together to resolve complex delivery challenges and help recover delivery when projects move off track.
  • Ensure effective project governance, audit readiness and adherence to applicable Arm processes and ISO requirements.
  • Facilitate decisions and coordinate delivery across Engineering, Product Management, Business, Marketing, Legal and other teams.
  • Support longer-term planning and roadmap development for your projects.
  • Help us continually improve our project management processes, practices and use of automation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience leading sophisticated software, engineering or technology projects, preferably using Agile or iterative development methods.
  • Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with engineering teams, peers, senior management and Arm partners.
  • Ability to understand technical discussions and identify their impact on project plans, risks and dependencies.
  • A positive and adaptable approach, with the confidence to take on new challenges in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with Software Development and Product Lifecycles.
  • Experience with project governance, audit or compliance activities.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar project management tools.
  • Exposure to Open Source Software.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools used to support project delivery.

Salary Range:

£126,200 - £170,800 per year
