We are one of the worlds leading IP companies and Arm's Physical IP products are one of the most widely used in the industry! Our Physical implementation team designs and delivers hardened macros for implementation of complex SoC designs. Your work will support products such as processor/graphic reference flow, hardened macros etc. You will have the opportunity to work on major platform development with pioneering leaders in the semiconductor and electronics industry.
As Project Manager, you will serve as a focal point in the development of our portfolio of products by driving and overseeing activities that deliver the products successfully. Hence we are looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is adaptive to change, resilient and eager to accept new challenges within an evolving environment
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-discipline, multi-site development teams in driving Physical implementation projects to meet business and strategic objectives.
- Create and manage communication plans with development teams and all internal and external partners. Liaise with customers to present status and progress.
- Be accountable for project execution in a consistent fashion following defined processes and workflows, within ISO 9000 requirements.
- Handle project risks and issues; drive/coordinate identification, mitigation, and resolution activities.
- Promote co-operative environment that challenges teams while ensuring independence and impartial assessment of projects and project managers
- Support the management team in achieving group and company targets and objectives.
- Project revenue management reporting and forecasting for the finance and management team.
- Handle contract amendments with product marketing, licensing, and account management.
- Contribute to Physical IP steering committees and other initiatives related to driving improvements.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Experience leading /managing RTL to GDSII projects
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science. Master’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant technical field is desired.
- 10+ years’ overall experience in semiconductor IP development/SoC Development
- 5+ years project management experience in IP development and/or silicon development
- Experience in project management methods and techniques like Project Lifecycle Management & Risk Management.
- Exposure to project management tools like Microsoft Project or equivalent
- Proficiency with Unix. Competency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication and networking skills to harmonize with peers, senior management, project players, and customers.
- A positive, can-do behavior which is adaptive to change, resilient and eager to accept new challenges within an evolving environment.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- PMP Certification
- Understanding of current SoC design techniques, trends and challenges.
