Job Overview:
As a Senior IT Solutions Engineer you will be the Technical Lead for existing and new communication and collaboration tools at Arm, responsible running the end to end technical lifecycle of products and services that support Arm colleagues globally. This includes, but isn't limited to, Slack, Zoom, Meeting Rooms, Telephony, Miro, Broadcast Events and workplace applications such as Desk Booking.
Responsibilities:
- Research into the latest technology, roadmaps and features and how they support Arm to be more productive.
- Utilise our great vendor relationships to learn system architecture and implementation processes.
- Onboarding new technology and integrating with Arm systems, working with our IT teams and governance.
- Getting the most from our technology investments, utilising automation and AI to support more efficient service operations.
- Help colleagues to build solutions for their requirements and improve utilisation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Administration & use of Zoom Meetings & Webinars.
- Setting up Zoom telephony including call queues.
- Managing Session Boarder Controllers for APAC telephony services.
- Architecting meeting room audio and visual (AV) equipment and management portals.
- Utilising APIs to integrate apps, workflows, systems and data, especially in Zoom and Slack.
- Integration with Microsoft identity and access management systems.
- Good at presenting technical topics and solutions to all audiences.
- Organised with a good attention to detail.
- Adept at crafting and using data to support decisions.
- Experience of working with vendor success and support teams.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Broad range of exposure to AV hardware vendors.
- Network knowledge to help identify meeting quality improvements.
- ServiceNow and Service Management processes.
- Hybrid events including broadcast equipment and webinars.
- Curiosity about how AI can help colleagues and improve operating processes.
- Experience using Microsoft PowerApps and PowerBI.
