Job Overview:

Are you passionate about building highly performant, flexible and reusable web applications and components? We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer to support the further development of our Digital Web Platform and Design System. This opportunity will offer you the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Stencil, React and Web component libraries, such as Webpack, Redux, etc.

This role is based 100% in Bengaluru in India. Occasional international travel may be required for company events, special team meetings and/or workshops. There is also a requirement for on-call.

Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Be responsible for the full development cycle of Arm's applications, platforms and services in line with business requirements
  • Peer reviewing colleagues work to ensure high-quality standards
  • Maintaining service levels and performance, including responding to and resolving incidents

Required skills and experience

  • JavaScript and TypeScript; Advanced JavaScript (ES6+); TypeScript for type-safe code in front-end and back-end development
  • Web components, Stencil
  • Front-end libraries like React, React State Management, React Query; Module bundlers like Webpack or Vite
  • Writing unit-tests, performing code reviews, ensuring adherence to web standards, non-functional requirements, such as Accessibility, Security, Responsiveness
  • Azure DevOps for building CI / CD pipelines

Leadership & People Skills

  • Hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with at least 6 years of overall experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation
  • Highly proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to follow a clear vision from the Technical Team Manager
  • Actively participate and foster a positive team spirit and can-do attitude
  • Be comfortable to raise issues and concerns
