Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating SAP functionalities through manual and/or automated testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables in SAP implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand SAP business processes and translate them into test cases.
- Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts and test scenarios for SAP modules.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, developers, and end-users to identify and resolve defects.
- Use tools like HP ALM, Jira, Solution Manager, or other test management tools for test tracking and reporting.
- Validate data between SAP and non-SAP systems during integrations.
- Report and document bugs/issues, and participate in defect triage meetings.
- Assist in preparing test plans, test data, and test reports.
- Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.
- Support cutover activities and post-go-live validations as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP testing.
- Good understanding of at least one SAP module (e.g., SAP MM, SD, FICO, HCM, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Familiarity with tools like SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, Jira, or similar.
- Experience in working with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
