Job Overview:
We are looking for an expert technical leader to head our Kubernetes Platform Services team, responsible for building and operating secure, scalable, and automated Kubernetes infrastructure across data centers and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). This role will lead the design and delivery of a unified, self-service Kubernetes platform that empowers development teams to deploy reliable, production-grade clusters efficiently. You’ll play a key role in shaping our infrastructure strategy, enabling innovation, and enhancing operational excellence through modern, cloud-native practices.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Kubernetes Services team. Develop and implement strategies for efficient Kubernetes cluster deployment. Ensure the team meets performance and service delivery targets.
- Technical Oversight: Be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters. Ensure seamless integration with data centers (physical and virtual infrastructures) and public cloud (AWS, GCP, and Azure) platforms. Maintain high availability, scalability, security, and efficiency of Kubernetes services.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with developers and engineers to understand their requirements. Provide technical mentorship and support for Kubernetes-related issues. Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with other groups.
- Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Kubernetes and cloud technologies. Drive continuous improvement in Kubernetes deployment processes. Implement standard processes for security, monitoring, and management of clusters.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Demonstrable ability to lead and mentor high-performing Kubernetes infrastructure teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while driving career growth through coaching, feedback, and strategic development aligned with interpersonal goals.
- Experience working in Kubernetes ecosystem (SUSE Rancher, Isovalent Cilium, ArgoCD, Fleet, Prometheus, etc.), Virtualization (VMware, Harvester, OpenStack etc.), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and Containerization technologies.
- Experience in deploying and supporting distributed services on Kubernetes.
- Deep knowledge in Linux, networking, storage, automation, and security best practices.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and platform engineering practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in infrastructure deployment and configuration and API automation.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Experience working in semiconductor industry and related technologies.
- Relevant technical specialization or architecture level certifications in the Kubernetes and cloud platforms and infrastructure technologies.
- Expertise leading agile software teams or working with agile software development techniques.

Salary Range:
