Responsibilities:
As an experienced CPU micro-architect & RTL design engineer in the CPU team, you will be involved from micro-architecture definition to RTL implementation, working in close collaboration with Performance Modelling, Verification and Implementation teams.
You will be part of a growing, fast-paced, and fun team. You will have ownership for the implementation of your work and the opportunity to mentor more junior design engineers.
You will work directly with engineers across the company to build next-generation CPUs in a multi-site and multi-cultural environment.
Required Skills and Experience
- You graduated from a University or Engineering School, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronic / Electrical Engineering, or other related science
- You hold at least five years of working experience in hardware fields
- You have a good understanding of computer architecture and micro-architecture concept
- You have an engineering mindset and passion for CPU micro-architecture and digital design
- You are able to make trade-offs between power, performance and area appropriately to meet the requirements of the product
- You have in-depth Verilog/SystemVerilog skills or VHDL
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience
- You know basic scripting languages, e.g. Perl/TCL/Python
- You have been exposed to C/C++, assembly language and/or verification techniques and test benches (e.g. UVM and Formal)
