As a graduate, you will work with the MCU Software & Tools team, in Grasbrunn, Germany office. This team belongs to Arm Development Solutions Group (DSG) and is responsible for Arm Keil MDK, along with the ULINK debug adapters and the CMSIS for the Cortex-M and Cortex-A microcontrollers. Moreover, with its involvement in the Open-CMSIS-Pack Linaro project, this team develops many command-line tools to build, verify and process CMSIS-Pack.
- Analyze and understand requirements to envision strong technical solutions.
- Understand & execute the complete software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Write well-designed, testable code for the given sets of requirements.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer science, Electronics, electrical engineering, or other related fields.
- Have knowledge of C/C++11 or GoLang.
- Basic understanding of common software development practices (CI/CD, quality aspects such as performance, scalability, security).
- Understanding of source code control system (git, subversion).
- Have a creative and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team or unilaterally.
- Fluent English communication skills, spoken and written.
- Self-motivated and flexible to learn new things and have a passion for embracing technology.
- Are prepared to take every opportunity to learn/develop and improve.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Understanding the basics of computer architecture fundamentals, design concepts, and some knowledge of embedded development
- Use of a UNIX environment and shell programming/scripting language.
- Excellent attention to detail
