Job Overview:
As part of the Design Enablement (DE) team, you will work closely with our software development team that develops and deploys innovative software for automating the production of physical IP with ARM. The software engineer will also have the opportunity to work directly with our production engineers and learn about the latest semiconductor manufacturing processes. Responsibilities:
- Developing software critical to our production and delivery of physical IPs.
- Work with our software flow teams to integrate new and existing tools into their standard cell, memory design flows and IP delivery flows.
- Will be responsible for validating, deploying, and supporting these software tools.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Experience 2-7 Yrs.
- Bachelors (BE/B.Tech) or Masters (MS/MTech) in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering - although other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience.
- Experience using an object-oriented programming language like C++, Java or Python.
- Ability to develop code based on Object Oriented Design concepts.
- Have strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals with the ability to determine appropriate ones for a program based on their performance trade-offs.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and practices for the full SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Knowledge of the TCL programming language
- Knowledge of digital circuits and logic design
- Experience using and/or developing VLSI CAD tool or flows
- Knowledge of general Unix scripting languages (grep, sed, awk, etc).
