Job Overview:

Based in our Bengaluru office on a 16x5 shift pattern with on call on a rota basis.

Focused initially on specialist end user support and resolution of issues with SAP Security evolving, as part of a new dev ops structure, to design, develop, projects and maintaining service.

Developing, and integrating security & authorisation changes throughout the SAP estate, through all phases of the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with technical & business teams to ensure business requirements are delivered.

With good technical expertise in SAP security, and an understanding of how to ensure Users have appropriate access within the wider context of systems and environments that are secure and SoX compliant.

With at least a B.Tech or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and at least 3 years of overall experience in a similar role within a global organisation of which a minimum of 1 year is working with SAP Security.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Providing L2 and L3 SAP security support.
  • Requirements gathering, role development, role testing, and delivery of Role based SAP Security into Production environments alongside functional solutions and teams.
  • Supporting Sod/SoX related clean up initiatives and actions.
  • SAP User management in project environments.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Solid Experience of working with SAP S/4 Security, Roles, Authorisations, Risks & Controls in a SoX compliant environment.
  • Track record of operational support, Incident, Request, Change and Problem Management aligned with ITIL.
  • BTP / Fiori based Catalog/Role based security and developing solutions within them in a DevOps environment.
  • Security component of modules such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Solman, SAP GTS, SAP EMS.
  • Identity and access management and / or central user administration solutions, including SAP based ones such as CUA and GRC AC.
  • Supporting and resolving production security & authorisation issues within the SAP Estate.
  • Resolving security incidents and vulnerabilities in SAP systems and restoring normal levels of service.
  • Ability to handle the lifecycle of problems plus all related documentation and knowledge creation articles.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Involvement of preparing for SAP Security audits, security gap analysis & identification. Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and standards.
  • SAP GRC Access Control, for compliance and risk mitigation across FI/CO, MM, SD, RAR, GTS, HCM processes!
  • Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Security and Authorisations, or certifications in SAP GRC!
  • Experienced with development practices such as Waterfall, Agile.
  • Experienced working in a global, diverse and multicultural environment.
