Job Overview:

Based in our Bengaluru office on a 16x5 shift pattern with on call on a rota basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operational support as well as implementing& integrating security and authorisation changes throughout the SAP estate. Expected to collaborate with various technical and business teams to ensure effective delivery.

With a deep technical expertise in SAP security, and an understanding of how to ensure Users have appropriate access within the wider context of systems and environments that are secure and SoX compliant.

Hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with at least 6 years of overall experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation of which a minimum of 3 years is working with SAP security. A successful history of owning and delivering SAP security demand as a technical specialist in large-scale IT environments. Ability to work autonomously, with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest industry developments. Occasional international travel may be required for company events, special team meetings and/or workshops.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Providing L2 and L3 SAP security incident management.
  • Role implementation, testing, and delivery of Role based SAP Security into Production environments alongside functional solutions and teams.
  • Supporting Sod/SoX related clean up initiatives and actions.
  • SAP User management in project environments.
  • Lead a team of SAP Security analists

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Deep Experience of working with SAP S/4 Security, Roles, Authorisations, Risks & Controls in a SoX compliant environment.
  • SAP GRC Access Control, for compliance and risk mitigation across FI/CO, MM, SD, RAR, GTS, HCM processes.
  • BTP / Fiori based Catalog/Role based security and developing solutions within them in a DevOps environment.
  • Security component of modules such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP Solman, SAP GTS, SAP EMS.
  • Identity and access management and / or central user administration solutions, including SAP based ones such as CUA and GRC AC.
  • Supporting and resolving production security & authorisation issues within the SAP Estate.
  • Resolving security incidents and vulnerabilities in SAP systems and restoring normal levels of service.
  • Ability to handle the lifecycle of problems plus all related documentation and knowledge creation articles!
  • Involvement of preparing for SAP Security audits, security gap analysis & identification. Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and standards.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Security and Authorisations, or certifications in SAP GRC!
  • Lead/Team Lead responsibilities
