We are looking for someone to join our India People Services team as a People Services Specialist to help us achieve the best outcomes for our people and our organization, whilst staying true to the spirit of our Arm-unique culture.

As an Employee Relations People Specialist, you will be our subject matter authority for Employee Relations policies & issues in India. You will deliver regional and global change projects, lead on all aspects of employee relations work (including conducting investigations into employee concerns, helping resolve issues between employees & support managers in addressing any areas of under-performance). You will also play a key role in driving our wellbeing strategy, developing our people, and building manager capability. You will enable our manager community through delivery of sessions on relevant topics, to ensure that they can attract, retain and spark the potential of our workforce.

Reporting to the Director, People Services - India, the right candidate will thrive in an "all hands on deck" environment, love solving people- and employment-related issues, and enjoy navigating through ambiguity. If you are creative, resourceful, organized, like to adapt quickly, take on tough problems, and have strong social skills, this is the role for you. You will also have the opportunity to partner with People Services colleagues from other regions to both craft our global approach and to learn from others.

WhatwillIbeaccountablefor?

You will provide a smooth HR advisory service to our India offices to support the business in achieving its operational and long-term objectives. This will include, but not be limited to employee relations, wellbeing, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, employee engagement etc. You will also support Arm India and the Global People team with a variety of People related activities and projects. In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor & subject matter expert on all employee relations matters in Arm India
  • Drive local employee relations including full case management, equipping managers & raising employee awareness of processes policies & practices.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with employees & management
  • Partner with legal advisors when conducting investigations to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of workplace concerns
  • Analyze employee relations trends with business leaders and HR teams; help develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies
  • Facilitate the induction program for new employees and ensure a positive employee experience joining Arm
  • Participate in audits to guarantee adherence with legal requirements and company policies
  • Participate in the broader People team priorities including employee engagement agenda, Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Development

Whatskills,experience,andqualificationsdoIneed?

  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate efficiently across all levels of an organization domestically & internationally
  • A thorough understanding of India employment law and related legal frameworks to guarantee compliance
  • The quality of the support we provide really matters, so you will have excellent attention to detail, be a self-starter and a can-do attitude
  • Efficient and structured work methodology will enable you to work in a flexible, fast, and agile environment
  • You are good at analyzing situations and problem solving
  • In a small and dynamic team, we achieve our goals through teamwork, so you will need to show us how you have displayed this in previous roles
  • Relevant higher education preferably specialized in Human Resources and demonstrable experience in a similar role
