Job Overview:
We are seeking a driven and meticulous individual with a proven track record of UI configuration of on-premise Jira, or who is a technical user of Excel to join Arm's global IT department.
Using your technical ability and attention to detail, you will ensure the way our IT teams use our critically-important Jira environment and supporting tools is kept up-to-date and fit-for-purpose. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, and must be keen to pick up new skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and developing the UI configuration of our on-premise Jira environment.
- Utilising supporting tools, including PowerBI and Excel, to capture and analyse datasets around team capacity, performance, and other valuable insights.
- Crafting and updating documentation around the accurate usage of Jira and other tools, and sharing this knowledge within the team and similar roles.
- Generating ideas that will assist data and delivery managers to continuously improve our tools and processes.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Exceptional attention to detail, able to follow and develop specific processes to ensure system integrity and stability.
- Hands-on experience of Jira UI configuration, including project setup, board configuration, advanced queries using JQL, filters, dashboards, and issuefunctions().
- Advanced user of Excel, comfortable with complex formulas, validation, and conditional formatting, as well as using data tables and Power Query to access and transform data from external sources.
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
- Experience of using data visualisation tools such as PowerBI to build relationships between datasets to present and interrogate data.
- Knowledge of Jira back-end configuration, including workflows, screens, custom fields, and ScriptRunner.
