Job Description

We are looking for a highly qualified person to lead EMEA Trade Compliance Operations, sound like you?

We as a business are a world leader in microprocessor design, our success is based on licensing agreements with many of the biggest names in consumer electronics and semiconductor manufacturing. The effective management of import and export compliance is a high priority and critical activity for Arm!

This position will have responsibility for working collaboratively with a set of partners throughout Arm to ensure compliance with UK and EU export and customs regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Primary responsibilities:

Lead and maintain operational processes required to comply with customs & regulations for sales transactions and free of charge exports and imports, including:

End user checks and denied parties screenings including due diligence vital to resolve validity of potential matches
Adherence to UK export license conditions and requirements
Accurate and current End User Undertakings (EUUs) per UK export controls
Review and resolution of UK export holds in systems of record (Salesforce, SAP, GTS)
Approval requests for access to R&D repositories and delivery systems
Training, documentation, reporting and recordkeeping
Support systems-related requirements and processes to automate requirements where applicable in enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP and SAP GTS, fulfilment systems), including:
Work with Sr Manager of Trade Compliance Operations, IT and other key partners to prioritize and apply the requirements
Training on UK trade compliance requirements
Internal Compliance Program (ICP) documentation
UK export and customs-related recordkeeping and reporting procedure
Provide support to key partners on UK-related trade compliance implications of new process and systems requirements
Respond to inquiries and requests received from internal partners and external customers through centralized mailbox and other tools including Service Now
Assist with HMRC and Export Control Joint Unit (ECJU) audits

Desired Experience:

B.A./B.S. or other relevant degree
5+ years of relevant working experience in trade compliance, with focus on export
Comprehensive understanding of UK and EU dual-use controls
Solid understanding of US export regulations
Experience working in SAP, SAP GTS, and Salesforce
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
