Data and Visualisation Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking new member for our Machine Learning / Data Science team, which is part of Arm’s Data-Centric Engineering department.

Our group, Productivity Engineering, provides the high-performance compute environment that fuels product and solution development for Arm's engineering community. Whether it is high-performance compute on our infrastructure and in the cloud, Electronic Design Automation, or bespoke software tools and workflows, the services and products we deliver are used by every engineer in Arm.

In the team, we extract information from large data sets from various sources to enable data-driven decisions and improved efficiency and effectiveness of engineering processes.

You will be working as part of an international and diverse team to apply a mixture of Data Engineering, Data Visualisation, and Data Analytics disciplines to produce performant data pipelines connecting various local and cloud data sources to live, interactive graphics.   • Build, deploy and maintain automated, performant and scalable ETL pipelines to create insights and guide decisions
  • Develop and support interactive Dashboards to visualise the performance of Machine Learning (ML) Applications
  • Analyse and link ML benefits to Arm product development cost, product quality and sustainability
  • Integrate and analyse data from v data sources from on-prem and cloud (hybrid environment)
  • Run pipelines and Dashboards in a hybrid environment, while navigating security landscape
  • Data quality control and data validation; communication with our partners on data format, data gaps and data interpretation
  • Collate and coordinate stakeholder requests
  • Add analytics to visualisations (predictive analytics)
  • Improve pipeline and Dashboard performance, continuously develop and add new features


  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other data engineering related areas
  • Experience in ETL and data processing: Extraction, consolidation, and processing data from various data sources to be used for visualisation
  • Experience in crafting data visualisations
  • Data-oriented personality, attention to detail, creativity and ability to produce appealing and convincing visualisations
  • Ability to apply software development principles (code quality)
  • Tableau, SQL, Python, Git/Gerrit, Jira, cloud technologies, Jenkins
  • D3.js, Docker, Security
