There was no better way to kick off the end of the (western) year celebration than by saying 'thanks' to those at Arm who had gone above and beyond in 2021. To celebrate this fact we launched the Arm Gratitude Awards (or AGAs)
The AGAs were an opportunity to show appreciation for Arm employees voted for by the employees. This could be someone who had helped out at work, or someone who deserved some recognition for their contributions to the team. Or that colleague who went the extra mile to make sure everyone stays connected while we were working from home or just made everybody smile on a daily basis, we categorized these to Wellbeing Warrior, Makes Fun Happen, Sunshine and Always Helpful awards. There were a lot of nominations which was fantastic to see, but our winners were;

Our award winners after being announced were overjoyed and below is some of the feedback,

One can consider themselves fortunate to work in a place, where fun is rewarded/recognized. 🙂 The old saying of, "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" is something that became more profound during pandemic/WFH, and I am happy to say, we were able to work with fun, various quizzes, activities and so on, kept us engaged and connected.
